Summary
The February/March Revolution took place in Russia in 1917. It was designed to get rid of the Tsar, who was Nicholas the second at the time. They replaced him with a provisional government, which was run by multiple people. The reason it is called the Feb/Mar revolution is because the Russians were still using the Gregorian calender at the time, so they were ahead of the rest of the world by a few days. This Revolution was unsuccessful because the power went to the heads of the people running the provisional government.
