Summary
Stalin's idea of industrialization and the five year plans were designed to increase industry and output. Economic planning was now forced, and everything was based on a quota system. The first 5 year plan was 1928-1933, which was the Agricultural changes (Collectivization). The second was from 1933-1937, but it was too severs, so it was changed in 1934. Anybody who revolted against Stalin, including party officials, were shot on sight, to get rid of the threat of ruining his plans.
