Summary
The Battle of Britain was based around Adolf Hitler's plan to invade Great Britain. They needed control of the airspace before he could act on this plan though. The Luftwaffe started bombing major airstrips, factories, and hangars all over Britain. The RAF outnumbered them 3:1, but the British still came within days of running out of defence measures. on the 24th of August, the Germans accidentally bomb London, and the British retaliate by bombing Berlin.
