Summary
On December 7th 1941, The United states was attacked by the Japanese, at a naval base in Hawaii. It was not intended to put the USA into war, but it certainly did. The Japanese objective was to sink and immobilize the entire US Fleet in the base. Eight battleships were damaged, two were lost, and three were absent during the attack. it almost succeeded, but there were some flaws in the Japanese's plan. They failed to destroy the oil depots, the aircraft carriers were absent from the harbour, and the submarine pens were also not damaged. the USA declares war on Japan that day, and three days later on December 10th, Hitler declares war on the USA.
