Summary
The October/ November Revolution was the second revolution of 1917. Vladimir Lenin brought 20,000 troops into Petrograd, and basically took over the country. It was a completely bloodless affair, as there was only one shot fired during the whole thing, and it was a blank. The soviets gained power over Russia, and many things came from it. The treaty of Brest-Litovsk is a prime example of one, as it pulled them out of WWI officially.
Quote
“Lenin and his comrades-in-arms think they can commit any crime, like the massacre at Petrograd, the storming of Moscow, abolition of freedom of speech, the senseless arrests – all the abominations that used to be committed by Plehve and Stolypin.”
