Summary
Lyndon B. Johnson was the 36th president of the United states. he came into power after president Kennedy was assassinated. He was re-elected for a second term also. HE spent his entire time in office dealing with the Vietnam war, and he formed the peace corps VISTA in hopes of fighting poverty and creating his great society. He also wanted to make more equality rights for Black people in the United States.
