Summary
The Russian civil war was a war fought basically between the Bolsheviks, and anybody who opposed them. The "reds" were the Bolsheviks, and the "Whites" were all other people opposing to him. The whites won the first few battles, but the tables were turned when Leon Trotsky Began to run the show. Overall, the reds were more enthusiastic, as well as organized, and that's why they won. The Reds were also made up of lower class people.
