Summary
The battle of the Atlantic was a huge battle between the German U-Boats, and the British navy. The U-boats hunted British convoys in packs, and sunk many merchant ships. These british convoys were heavily protected by destroyers and many other means, in order to keep their goods and supplies safe. The British had the largest navy in the world at the time, so they fought hard and took care of this problem.
