Summary
War Communism was an ideology that was introduced by Vladimir Lenin, in 1918. The entire industry of Russia was Nationalized, and everything was controlled by the Government. Compulsory Labour was brought into effect, and private trade was suppressed. Peasants were also forced to hang over their entire product, with the exception of the bare minimum they need to survive. This system was not very good because the rich didn't like giving up what they had.
