Summary
The Chinese communist party(CCP) was a political party in China that was led by Mao Zedong. He built his party on the peasantry, instead of turning to urban workers, because he didn't want to have to deal with them. Chiang fought hard to get rid of the CCP, despite the fact that the Japanese were invading Manchuria, and Chinese territory. The CCP fought largely with guerilla warfare, as it was very effective in the Chinese Landscape.
