- The Red Guard got so violent that the PLA had to restore order the Revolution ended by 1969
Summary
The Cultural revolution in china was Mao's Idea. he wanted to "Purify" China, and create a pure form of communism. He created people called the Red guard, that openly criticized the governments officials. Some people were unhappy with this and were seen as targets. these people were those who wanted to return to capitalism, "specialists" or anyone who did not do manual labour who were forced to do it, as well as anyone who disobeyed the little red book. The Red guard got so violent that the PLA was forced to interfere and end the revolution by 1969.
