Summary
George Clemenceau, a.k.a "the Walrus" because of his rather large moustache, was the leader of France at the time of the Paris peace conference. He was very upset by the Germans during the war, and wanted severe punishments to be dealt out. He had pans to put Germany in such a weak and debt filled state, that they would never be able to rise again and create a conflict.
